The gym was locked for some uknown reason, so I hit the stairs for a half-hour.

I don't have a problem spending 35 minutes or more on the treadmill, but that stationary bike is a bore!

Slowing down
Twenty to 30 years ago, my pace on most training runs was 8 to 10 minutes per mile, these days it's 15 minutes per mile. But at least I'm still at it.

Going the wrong way
With too much eating and too little exercise over the last month, the weight and the blood pressure creep upward. They were 238 and 143/92 this morning.

Stroll, walk, jog
That's my routine these days, start on the treadmill at strolling speed, build up to a brisk walk, then jog in for five or six 2-minute intervals.

Getting back into it
Easing back into the routine just before I depart on a week-long business trip to Arizona. Hopefully, I'll be able to stick with it as the Hilton I'll be staying at has a gym that's open 24/7.
